The Short Version

Every tool on HexCalculator runs entirely as client-side JavaScript in your browser. Whatever you type into a conversion tool is processed locally and is never transmitted to any server, logged, or stored.

Information We Collect

We use Google Analytics to see anonymous, aggregate traffic patterns — things like which tools are popular and roughly where visitors are coming from. It does not know what you type into any tool, since that never leaves your browser in the first place. Your web server or CDN (Cloudflare) may also keep standard infrastructure-level access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes.

This site runs no advertising. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first — see "Changes to This Policy" below.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies to distinguish visits. You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings, or with a browser extension like Google's own Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

How the Tools Work

Conversions use standard browser JavaScript APIs (including TextEncoder/TextDecoder for UTF-8, and BigInt for large-number math) running entirely within your browser's sandbox. No conversion input or output ever leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

This site does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information from any visitor.
